We are currently hiring entry-level desk clerks for a variety of Mercy Housing facilities throughout the San Francisco area
The Desk Clerk performs varied responsibilities, including monitoring the traffic in and out of the building, providing security to the property, and communicating appropriately and adequately with both residents and the proper authorities as needed. While not required, general office experience and a high school diploma/equivalent are preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Treat every member of the community equally and with respect
Monitor cameras and grounds to ensure safe community
Log in/out visitors of any sort
Answer phone and forward to appropriate resource
Report any and all incidents/potential hazards
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Competent discernment in a variety of different scenarios
Prior experience working in a customer facing, hospitality driven role
Comfort in working with diverse groups of people from a range of backgrounds
Ability to keep busy in slow paced environments
